Kincardine Old Boys & Girls Reunion 08

Well survived another Kincardine Old Boys & Girls Reunion in my hometown of Kincardine, Ontario.
Every ten years the town throws a big party and invites everyone to come home and meet up with old friends (and maybe even make some new ones!)
The festivities kicked off with the Breakwater Blues Band  (a local blues band led by Feet McLeod) at the newly renovated Pavilion by the shores of Kincardine. It was wonderful catching up with old friends. I think we all looked fabulous....including Joe and me at the shirttail parade...a much anticipated evening of mayhem where just about any kind of attire (or lack there of) goes!
It is all a blur of good food....good company (my sister and her family were up from PEI) and my gal pals - Alice, Heather, Mary, Tamis & California Cath. What more could you ask for. The weather cooperated as well. We were very fortunate considering the rain we have had most of the summer.
Joe and I were camped out in my mum's backyard in our vintage tent trailer - a Joe yard sale find... (the man can find just about anything- and at a good price! It was a terrific experience... so much so that we are planning on camping once more this summer before we tuck it away in storage for the winter. (Off to Bronte Provincial Park.. I'll let you know how it goes in a later post!)
As well as partying my socks off I got involved with organizing a class reunion for the KDSS Class of 76-77 at Eian Farrell's farm. We had an amazing turnout. It was great catching up with classmates that I haven't seen for years... Debbie Anderson, Jamie Daniel, Steve Liddle, Steve Johnston, Monty "Twink" Walden.... to name a few.
